The Doctor's Letter: Patients Afflicted with COVID-19 (Paranoia)

Dear Patients, Parents, and Theater Playgoers,

Due to the frantic response of the COVID-19, coronavirus, pandemic, patient surgeries in Chicago have been brought to a pause. Even though the Doctor washes his hands, and hair, and exfoliates his skin, before every surgery, patients have been refusing contact with the Doctor.

At every attempt the Doctor has made to attend to the weak in script spirit, the patient has closed its door (despite selling him an online ticket). Even when the patient’s family had reported they would move forward with their performances despite the coronavirus, they have brusquely announced the reversal of their confidence to thus hide under a rock where the virus will not reach them, or their audiences.

The Doctor will only be tending to the remote diagnoses of scripts until the paranoia of pandemic dies down: e.g., swine flu.
